When adding your Citrix ADC (NetScaler) to Citrix Application Delivery Management (NetScaler MAS) you are presented with an error.
Trying to connect to <NetScaler IP> – Error: Error in contacting NetScaler, either NetScaler is unresponsive or credentials are incorrect
In our scenario NetScaler was online and firewalls between MAS and NetScaler were allowing the required traffic.
Solution: The account used to connect to the NetScaler contained special characters (eg. * and %) . After resetting the password to more simple chars like !#$@ the issue was solved.
